Cats' Christmas 2009

Olen nimennyt käyttämäni läppärin Ökö:ksi (tai tietenkin tietiokoneisen maailmassa eivät skandit kelpaa joten nimi on: oko). Sen tietokoneen prosessori on ihan järjetön: lämpö on reilusti yli 70C. Tietenkin kattien mielestä tämä on kerrassaan epäekologista, mutta kuitenkin kerrassaan ihanaa.

My new laptop computer has name Ökö (actually in the Internet world the name "oko" must be used).  The processor of that computer is really high: 70C (160F). Really awful (and very unecological) temperature but cats just love it.

Täällä on  kerrassaan inhottavaa tähän aikaan vuodesta: päivän pituus on suunnilleen kuutisen  tuntia. Ja nekin tunnikt ovat säälittävän pimeitä. Onkin sanottu jossain, että suomalaiset nukkuvat talvella. Kissoihin tuo ei tunnu pätevän ollenkaan:ne nukkuvat aina. Vaikka nyt olisi yöeläimelle tosi upea aika!

This is really nasty time here! Day-length is about six hours (and it gets shorter). In very northern parts of Finland night started at November 24th (we call that awful time "kaamos"). First (very short) day comes January 18th.
Cats like night. One could think, that Winter is really nice time for them. But no, sleeping is much more important thing.
