6.7.2006Suomelle tuli puheenjohtajan vuoro ilmeisesti tämän kuun alussa.
Suuri ongelma oli se, että Helsingin keskustassa tehtiin valtavasti kaikenlaisia tietöitä. Niitähän ei oikein voi tehdä talvella. Kaikki suomalaiset olivat äärettömän kiusaantuneita, mutä muut ajattelevat meistä. Elikkä tietöiden kautta tulee hirvittävää noloutta.
Kaiken huippu oli se, että joku oli varastanut muutaman tonnin katukiviä. Oikeastaan erittäin ihailtavaa, edes muutama metri kunnollista asvalttipintaa.
Finland got presidency of EU (or what that actually really is) a few days ago. And every Finn is really worried, what other people think!
Here are done all kind of road jobs. Naturally now, because
those are really hard during Winter. But this makes our city nearly
unaccesible.
Perunatorista olen
ottanut kuvia vaikka kuinka paljon.
I've taken a picture of just this place. In very different times of year.
This Lady seems tot have a cellular phone. We have really
quite many such. Nearly everyone has one. Very big reason for
that is the fact, that we are very used to then (and Nokia is
company from Finland).
Kolmen Sepän
Kirjakauppa oli upea paikka. Joskus viimekerralla perunatorilla
ollut myynti oli tehonnut upeana mainoksena
minulle. Siis minä tosiaankin rakastan "Public Scienceä".
This is the bookstore "three blacksmiths" (that's very famous sculpture just near). It is dedicated very much to popular science.
Actually I came there because of this "ad".
That time I bought a book of mathematics. This time it was of
physics from same series. And that wasn't nearly as good.
Nyt katukuppilassa
on huomattavasti enemmän elämää. Aiemmin
se olikin aika paljon surkeampaa.
Now there is rather nice weather. Finns like to sit in such
places. We consider that as part of Summer. Earlier
the weather wasn't nice, no way!
Poislähtiessä
menin esimerkiksi Sokos-tavaratalon ohi.
Then it was time to go away (at 2PM). We went by this "Sokos"
department store.
