Glims 31.5.2006

Glims May 31st, 2006

My physiothereapeut (Anita Lagerqvist) had figured out really excellent destination for trip: Espoo has very nice outdoor museum, Glims. Okay, that's maybe ten miles away. But then I see the capacity of electrical wheelchair (that trip took 2/10 of it's energy). And about 150% of my energy.

There seems to be a small market-place near Galleria!

Huge doggie! That place some kind of salmon. And that dog clearly indicates, it's really quite delicious!

Kartanon leipä, ihanaa. Olenkin jo aiemmin vaahdonnut, kuinka tärkeää tuokkainen on.

I really like this "Kartanon Leipä". They have quite many sugarless (actually, they aren't that; "normal" sugar is just replaced, typically with fructose) products. The other product (cheesecake with pineapple) contain just that. What the other contains no sugar whatsoever (pastries with ham).

Mormonitemppeli on sijoitettu tosi upeaan paikkaan. Se on laajaa peltoaukeaa hallitsevalla mäellä. Ei missään vitikossa kuin evankeelisluterilaisten vastaava.

Mormons are building their main (and only) temple of Finland to here. Really very nice place. On hill beside very big field.

Really very glorious place! Not like our church, that is in some bush!

Jokamiehenoikeudet ovat käsittämätön juttu muille ihmisille. Nehän ovat tuollaiset vain pohjoismaissa.

We have so called "every man right" (other Nordic countries has that, too). That means, one can pick flowers, mushrooms and berries from woods (but not from gardens, naturally). Very nice thing! As for joke goes:

Nordic countries are very near first class. Last class contains North Korea (and then USA is very near of that).

Nice flowers. But what are they? I don't really know. Actually I don't care much. Just nice yellow flowers; enough information for me.

Yksi Glimsin taloista toimii kahvilana.

This is Glims. As You can clearly see, not accessible with wheelchair. Here was café. Hindrek got something.

Kehä II loppuu tuohon. Aika pervoa.

There has been really bad feelings, because our country has been represented only be very illogical things: like "Wife Carrying Contest". Even Wikipedia has an article about that. But we are really a bit mad (and that bit isn't very small). Who would voluntarily live in country like this?

Roads round Helsinki give very good example. First was number III. Then I. What about II? It end here. Only Espoo did it's part. Other cities didn't bother.

Olimme yhdessä liikkeellä. Minä olin tässä vaiheessa ihan valtaisan väsynyt.

I was really tired after that trip. One doesn't think so. But constant problems with road wear down.
